The Tenmoku cup is a traditional Chinese tea cup. The Tenmoku style dates back to the 10th century and was adopted by Zen Japoan monks in the 14th century. The special feature of this cup is the natural appearance of the patterns and colors, which results from the oxidation-reduction reaction.
The "Floral" cup was given this name because it features floral motifs on the bottom of the cup, often reminiscent of a peony in bloom, and the flower petals have a relief effect resulting from the oxidation-reduction reaction.
